A individual charged with stalking Kate McCann apparently deposited her a recorded message which asked: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

Julia Wandelt, 24, who court testimony revealed has consistently claimed she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are on trial charged with harassing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.

On Monday, the tribunal learned call records and information retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a vacation in Portugal - is considered the most publicized investigations and is still unresolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another voicemail, shared in court, captured Ms Wandelt declaring: "I know I'm overweight and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I know what I believe."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I am she? What then? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a life here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.

The jury was told that by means of electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who collated the evidence, advised the court there "showed no any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with family friends of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "a wrong number."

During that incident Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I won't give up and I will prove my point."

The court heard Mrs Spragg struck up a relationship online with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a visit to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Phone records demonstrated Mrs Spragg had reached out via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to express the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the months leading up to the trip to the village, Leicestershire, in that winter.

The court learned correspondence between the two individuals, in November 2024, considering trying to acquire Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a dining venue.
